New Beginnings

Hello!

This is now my second day in London and in my new apartment and everything's just perfect!
I'm so excited, I don't even know where to begin!! Let's try starting from the landing:

We arrived to London early (9am is pretty early tbh) in the morning with mom and grandma. I was way too excited to waste time so we took the train to Victoria Station and from there to taxi which took us to my apartment. It took quite a time to get there since it's in Northern London but I wasn't in the mood to feel bored.

So the apartment I moved in is some kind of campus but it's not attached to an university. The people are from different unis around the London... Basically student apartments, that's the right word, I think. I have my very own room and toilet/shower but I'm sharing the kitchen with 6 people. There's also study room where you can do your homework and read some books. And then there's a room for hanging out and there is a TV and ping-pong table and some other games. Those two rooms are for aaaaaaaaallll the students living in this big big building.

It's really difficult to find proper words to describe this place! I LOVE IT! I had only seen pictures of my room and thought it was okay but it turned out to be million times better! The room is much bigger than it looked in photos and in really good condition! It was love on the first (real-life) sight<3 I'll be showing my room you later on because at the moment it's just a horrible mess.
But the yard! oh my god the yard!

THERE'S A GIANT CHESSBOARD OUTSIDE! It looks so amazing! I have no idea how to play chess and I have not made any friends yet so I have no one to play with or to teach me. But maybe one day! I'm also loving those lamps that are hanging there! I can see them from my room's window and they light up my room a little when I turn off the lights in the night :3 I don't like sleeping in the complete darkness so I'm a big fan of those little lamps out there!

Tomorrow my school starts and that's just one more thing to be excited about, I wonder when I'll be able to catch my breath.. My summer vacation started on March and so much stuff happened in these past six months, I can't believe it's coming to an end.

See ya next week with my thoughts of the school and maybe I've cleaned my room so I can show you around :)
